What We Offer
We offer a little something for everyone here at the farm!

Book your private event for small groups of 1-6 people to hang out with a couple of baby cows. Large groups 7-25 people also welcome with special inquiry.

An extended sunset version of our Cow Social that also includes a flower you pick, campfire, s’mores bar and optional homemade hot chocolate bar. Available in mid Summer through Fall.

We offer seasonally curated on farm events featuring our cows and other special surprises or collaborations.

We grow flowers seasonally that can be purchased in bouquets at the Delaware Farmer’s Market, at our Farmstand, or in a you-pick format (by appointment at Flowers with a Side of Cows or special event).

We offer a variety of products for sale both seasonally at the Delaware' Farmer’s Market and at our Farmstand. You may find honey, sourdough products, baked goods, spice mixes, flower bouquets, stained glass, and merch!
Who We Are
The Planted Hoof is an 8 acre homestead and farm ran by first generation farmers - husband and wife, Seth and Amy. We added a little farmer in 2023 to help out as a future farmhand. Our focus is on creating a beautiful space for visitors to relax, pick their own flowers, hang out with cows, and enjoy other curated seasonal events on the farm.
We offer goods made on our homestead including: fresh eggs, honey, spice mixes, sourdough, produce, and flowers (seasonal). We also have merch so you can take a little reminder of our farm home with you.
Check out social media for pop-up farmstand hours and farmer’s market days (9am-12pm on most Saturdays from Memorial Day weekend through October).
We also offer bookings in our pavilion for small and large group events with the cows.
We have lots of future visions for The Planted Hoof including:
-baby cows born on the farm from our own heifers and cows (first baby expected in 2027 or 2028)
-cut your own Christmas tree coming in the distant future, since it takes many years for a pine tree to grow from a sapling! We started planting trees in early 2025.
Experience the Farm
Cow Social
Book a private 45-minute appointment with the baby cows. Led by Amy or Seth, they will educate you about cattle and give you the opportunity to brush, feed and take pictures with select highland crosses. Groups of six or less, by appointment only.
Monthly Events
Once or twice a month The Planted Hoof will host a special cow themed event. This may be a DIY workshop or class, mini photo session, or a collaboration event with other local businesses. Tickets will be required for all on farm events.
Farmstand & Farmer’s Market
Come see us seasonally at our farmstand as well as at the Delaware Farmer’s Market in Downtown Delaware, OH - 9am-12pm on most Saturdays from Memorial weekend through late October.
